Registrato requires a gov.br account at silver or gold level with two-step verification.

Download your SCR report

Check the debts and limits in your name, and anything shown as overdue.

Check your Cadastro Positivo records

You can see your history and score at each credit bureau free of charge.

Correct errors at the source

Ask the company that sent the wrong information (within two business days) or the bureau (within 10 days) to fix it.

Escalate if needed

If a bureau doesn't cooperate, go to Procon, the Defensoria Pública, the Ministério Público or the courts.

Do I need to sign up for the Cadastro Positivo?

No. The Banco Central says your data can be included without your authorization, and you can ask to cancel it at any time, free of charge, within two business days.

How long can negative information stay on my record?

The Código de Defesa do Consumidor says consumer records can't contain negative information for a period longer than five years.

Do all credit bureaus use the same score?

No. The Banco Central says each Cadastro Positivo bureau builds its own score from the payment information it holds and has autonomy to create its own scoring methodology.

Is Registrato free?
