No-FX-fee credit cards in Brazil drop the foreign-transaction surcharge on purchases made abroad or in another currency.
*a card is filed here in one of three ways: a published issuer or regulator document we hold states a 0% foreign-transaction fee for it; the issuer's own page says, in a sentence about this card, that it charges no foreign-transaction fee (in the US, also when the issuer reports none to the CFPB); or the source listing we imported it from files it that way. Only a card filed on a quoted line or a regulator's record is re-read: we keep that quote and its source on the card's record and re-read the source every week. When the line is gone, a card filed on it leaves this list; a source we cannot re-read stops counting after 60 days (a CFPB survey, 14 months after the period it reports). A card filed by a document's 0% figure stays while that figure is the one on its record; a card filed by the source listing stays as the listing filed it, and we do not re-read the listing. Confirm the fee on the issuer's page before you travel.
